The Giving Closet is our chapter’s Life Member project. The purpose is to provide a safe, confidential place for students to go to prepare themselves for the day and narrow the gap between them and other students, fostering an environment in which they can excel in school.
Life Members partner with schools in the Rankin County School District to create spaces for students to come before school, providing a place to wash up, clean clothing to wear, toiletries and hygiene supplies, as well as food and water for throughout the school day.
