A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

To God Be the Glory! I am so blessed and elated to serve as the President of the Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County for the 2024-2025 term. Being born and raised in Rankin County, I have a deep love and sense of gratitude for this beloved community. I have always had a deep desire to serve and give back to the community that has continuously exuded kindness, faith, and service. One goal that remains near and dear
to my heart is ensuring that the youth, marginalized communities, and our most vulnerable populations are enriched and experience the power of a helping hand.

The Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County is a 501(C)3 charitable organization that
renders charitable services beneficial to the community and that enables children to rise
to their potential. For over 38 years, J.A.R.C. has been comprised of a collective group
of women who possess a deep desire to serve and positively impact the youth within
this community. We are actively working to expand our capacity so that we may touch
more lives throughout the county.

The Junior Auxiliary Prayer expresses our sincerest prayer for God to “grant us
clear vision, true judgement, with great daring as we seek to right the wrong . . . that we
may minister to the suffering and forlorn even as thou wouldst.” Our constant focus is
that we are the hands and feet of Jesus in our daily lives and in the community in which
we live. We are able to do that by getting to know members of our community and by
leading with a heart for service.

I look forward to a year where we remain anchored in faith and rooted in community.

In Service,

Tammy Thames Aiken
