Welcome to Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County! I am honored to serve as the President for the 2021-2022 year. In 1986, a group of dedicated women joined together to help the underprivileged in our community. Our founders saw a need in our community, and we are proud to carry on their legacy to serve the children of Rankin County for over 35 years. Our members are active leaders in our community who have a heart focused on serving children and their families. As a member of the National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA), our organization was founded on the principles of helping children and making a difference in their lives. We are dedicated to serve by our National motto “Caring Hearts. Helping Hands. Changing Lives..”

With the support of our corporate sponsors and donors, we offer 14 service projects meeting the needs of children in Rankin County. Some of our projects meet basic needs, such as meals, clothing, and school supplies. We also partner with other organizations in the area such as The Mustard Seed, the Rankin County Juvenile Detention Center, MS Department of Child Protection Services, MS State Hospital as well as the Rankin County School District and Pearl Public School District.

Aside from providing for basic needs, Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County also awards over $5,000 annually in Junior Auxiliary of Rankin County Crown Scholarships to deserving high school graduates pursuing a higher education. I invite you to explore our site and discover the impact our members make in our community and how you can support our service projects.

Every year, we are overwhelmed with the amount of support from our sponsors, donors, and our community. To our sponsors and generous donors, please accept our heartfelt thanks and know we could not serve the children of Rankin County without you!
